Damaged Kitchen Pantry

SERVPRO of Lake Forest South/Laguna Woods was called out to a home located in Lake Forest after the homeowner discovered a pipe leak. The leak was located in the wall behind the kitchen pantry. Upon inspection, the flooring of most of the kitchen was already wet and the boards were starting to separate. The before picture clearly shows the damaged flooring. Note how the seams between the boards are dark with water and how the boards are starting to lift. After getting approvals from the adjuster, we were able to remove the whole pantry. The whole space was saturated and had to be dried out for several days before meeting drying goals.
